Old cars

Who doesn't like old cars? well, actually lots of people don't like the smell, unreliability, or dated look but that's what makes them so cool. Here are some cool old cars that have cruised through my life.
First one is a '69 Datsun 510 originally owned by a little old lady from East Van. I acquired it for $500 and drove it daily for the next few years.
2nd is a '66 Impala 4-door hardtop. Jack bought it then had to leave the country and left me in charge of selling it. I drove it for the summer then found a buyer for him. I loved that car.
3rd one is a chopped '57 Nomad owned by a local skateboarder. Some people would think this chop is a butcher of a classic car but at least it's one-of-a-kind.

CB350 & CB360 motorcycles

Here's some shots of a red 1971 CB350 which hasn't been ridden since 1975. And speaking of 1975, that's the year of my blue CB360 which Uncle George bought new in Lethbridge, Alberta and got passed down through the various nephews and nieces and now resides in my garage until I can pass it on.

the first big snowfall in Vancouver this year and it was a good one. I pulled the sled out of the garage for a spin around the neighborhood. Too bloody noisy but it was fun. I could have ridden all across town but cops don't like that kind of horseplay.

It was fun but I'll stick to the mountains from now on....
